A review of the parole board is being considered by the Victorian Government.

It has emerged Premier Denis Napthine has met with Jill Meagher's husband, Tom Meagher."They were private discussions, but in a general sense I can say Mr Meagher and I agreed there was a need to improve the operation of the Adult Parole Board," Mr Napthine said."We are looking forward to the recommendations and considerations of the report."He says there may be a greater opportunity to look at broader recognition of all women who are victims of violent attacks."Whether that be in the form of a garden, or some other memorial, I believe that may be something that will be worth pursuing." Dinsley's criminal history began when he was 14 years old.

Would rather something regular and I don't mind travelling.

I am a good guy that can be cheeky (in a fun way), honest, loyal, like to goof around......

When she asked the boy about his mother he said: "There was a big man last night, and he bashed mummy with a baseball bat.""Mummy won't wake up to give me any breakfast." Members of the victim's family sobbed in court during Dinsley's short appearance. Outside court, lawyer Jon Irwin said Dinsley always had the intention of owning up."I think he is remorseful," he said."He told police what he did, and how he did it." He says Dinsley faces a 25 to 30-year prison term.

Dinsley was on parole after serving time for rape when he committed the murder."My understanding is the parole board were aware of the fact he was doing things that probably breached his parole conditions..that did breach his parole conditions," said Mr Irwin."I can't imagine the judge to be particularly lenient at all."From the perspective of the community that's probably justified."He says there are some features which distinguish him from other high profile violent criminals such as Adrian Bayley, Jill Meagher's killer, and Steven Hunter, who has admitted to killing Sarah Cafferkey."He hasn't attempted to hide from the crime, to move the body, or to shield himself from what he did.""But there's no other way of putting it, it was a vile crime."He says Dinsley did not know the four-year-old boy was inside the house at the time."He was quite shocked when that was put to him," Mr Irwin said.

The court summary states that a portion of the incident was witnessed by her son.

It says the following day a family friend went to the home, where she noticed some blood.
